College Connection (CC) is the industry leading field hockey showcase fully focused on helping competitive high school prospective student athletes achieve their dreams to play at the college level. Through excellence in programming, organization and coaching, College Connection is privileged to be the only showcase endorsed by NFHCA (National Field Hockey Coaches Association). MISSION
The objective of College Connection is to provide every participant with the principles and foundation to lead them to their dream to play collegiate field hockey. Our platform is simple:

• Provide quality coaching to teach advanced hockey skills and tactics to elevate your game to the next level.
• Provide current and unbiased recruiting education to both prospects and their parents.
• Provide every participant visibility to the Collegiate Coaching communities "visibility pledge".
• Promote participant attendance to every college coach in the country.
• Provide program schedules and details to every D1, D2 and D3 college coach in a timely fashion.
• Provide detailed recruiting information to all college coaches that attend CC locations.
• Provide vital video footage to supplement the recruiting process.
• Provide cooperative video editing services.
• Provide "virtual recruiting" opportunities to enhance visibility.

HISTORY
After coaching through the Olympics and two World Cup Teams, Pam Hixon stepped back from active coaching to see what the future of the sport of field hockey held. She was approached by many college coaches expressing the need for an independent entity to host invitational showcases for athletes to enable college coaches greater visibility to a wider pool of athletes. Their suggestion was to invite a top level group of college bound athletes to a single venue to show their skills,decision-making and on-field play, while concurrently educating these players about the recruiting and college selection processes. College Connection was born.

ELITE SHOWCASES (NFHCA Endorsed)
College Connection 2013 is a unique, highly competitive, invitational showcase designed for prospects graduating in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Our program integrates skills, tactics and tournament competition, layered with game and skills video opportunities. The athletic portion of College Connection is supported by our professionally developed seminar on "Recruitment and the College Selection Process". The CC "2013" package not only includes a take home game DVD for every participant but hosts a complimentary Parent Seminar to be held on Friday immediately following registration.
